Are You Wearing a Vintage-Inspired Swimsuit This Summer?
These darling little 50′s and 60′s throwback, vintage-inspired swimsuits are the best, to say the least! The suits are sexy and cute and keep us a little more covered up–but not showing everything is sexy, too, right?
Pez D’Or bikini top, $39.95, and bottom, $29.95, at Anthropologie, 50 Rockefeller Center.
Omo Norma Kamali bikini top, $150, and bottom, $155, at 11 W. 56th St.
See? Aren’t these suits great? I actually have a one-piece vintage-inspired swimsuit. I wrote about it here.
Toile de Jouy Onepiece Ruffled Swimsuit – Etsy (by Fables by Barrie) – $104
I hadn’t actually even tried the suit on at the time I wrote the post. I have worn it in Sun Valley this summer, and as cute and great-fitting this suit is, I admit I feel a little bit like a giant toddler when I don the pink and white and blue swimsuit…maybe it’s the ruffles. Thank goodness there aren’t 5 rows of pink ruffles on the bum area!! Really, though. I love it. It’s girly and demure. Just. Like. ME. (Snort!)

These vintage-inspired swimsuits are to die for! The high-wasted bottom, ruffled one-pieces, and fun patterns are perfect for this summer. That’s why we love the A Place In The Sun Lola One Piece by Leilani. The fun ruffle and cute pattern will get that vintage feel for a perfect summer design.
