Ask Jane: Easy Christmas Hair
I’ve had a few of you write in asking about Christmas Day hair and how the chefs among us can still look glamorous cooking without the frizz, sweat and hairs in the soup problem.
The easiest solution, and what I intend to do, is to wear hair like What Not To Wear’s Trinny Woodall.

To get this look, pull your hair into a ponytail, making sure to slick the front down with hair spray. Then tease the ponytail, using bobby pins to clip the hair into place. Pull out a few longer strands and spray into place.
Don’t aim for perfection – this hairstyle is meant to look messy – this should take you no longer than 5 minutes to pull together.
When finished, your hair will be out of your face and off your neck and it will look totally fab and sophisticated for Christmas dinner.
