Question: I am pretty sure makeup expires, but I wasn’t sure when and I can’t find expiration dates on the products I use. Any ideas?
Answer: Yes! Makeup, like everything else, has an expiration date. I was first stunned to learn this fact when I had to rid the store I worked at of its expired bottled water. That was years ago, but I truly learned the expired makeup lesson when I was in my early twenties. I found a tube of mascara hiding at the bottom of my purse. I wasn’t sure how long it had been down there, but it was too long. I used it and it was a painful lesson. Burning, itching, watering ensued.
