Banana Hair Mask For Damaged Hair

Bananas For Dry Hair

Whether your hair is dry, oily, dull or damaged, there are things you can find in your kitchen to help restore it’s condition.

Bananas are a very rich source of potassium and vitamins A, E, and C, which make them the perfect choice for homemade hair growth treatments.

1 banana (the riper, the better!)
1 tablespoon of olive or coconut oil (you can also use sweet almond oil)
shower cap

Put ingredients in a blender and blend until combined into a paste. You want the banana mashed completely, chunks of banana are hard to remove from your hair. Add a dash of flour if paste is too runny.

Separate hair into 3-5 sections.

Apply mask to each section from roots to ends.

Wind hair into a loose bun if long and place a shower cap over hair. Keep it on for 30 minutes and then rinse out, shampooing and conditioning as usual.

I would have never thought of using bananas, what a cool idea!

If nothing else you will smell good afterward.

This is very interesting. I may try this mask.

Bananas are so under-rated. I’ve been eating 3 a day on a detox and man I feel brand new.

And I use the Body Shop’s banana shampoo and conditioner it really is excellent.

I’m def going to try this. Thanks so much for sharing! :)

This sounds very nutritious for hair, have to give it a go.

Will try this my hair could use a little TLC>

I wouldn’t have thought of this one, interesting.

Definitely have to try this out to see how it works!
