bareMinerals Pure Luxuries Collection

bareminerals-pure-luxuries-collectionFor some reason, I’ve always had the preconceived notion that the Bare Escentuals brand was a bit dowdy and neutral. Not in a bad way, necessarily, but in an easily accessible way.

Certain colors and finishes are going to have different kinds of customers, and since I first heard about this company on one of the home shopping channels, I think I assumed it would be for a slightly older, slightly more mainstream audience than, say, MAC. But then I saw the colors in the bareMinerals Pure Luxuries Collection and it occurred to me that I may have been too quick to judge without properly educating myself.

The eight shades of eyeshadow that you get in this little kit are anything but boring; in fact, I think I need the deep teal color in my life immediately. And ten eye colors and five face colors for $79? And they’re full size? That’s a hard deal to argue with.

Sephora, $79.
