Using aspirin on your face? What?! Yes, the latest faze sweeping through beauty circles is the use of aspirin as a face mask.
To make the mask, place two uncoated aspirins into a bowl and add a few drops of water. The texture you are aiming for will be similar to a grainy exfoliant. Add a dash of honey and mix well, making sure to retain that grainy texture. Apply to the face and leave for 10 minutes or until it starts to flake off. Wash well, tone and moisturise as normal.
I have to admit, I was sceptical about this, but it really did work. My skin automatically felt clean and fresh. As for my enormous Krakatoa pores? They shrunk to a size that I couldn’t see. Amazing. Totally amazing.
Who knew something that can cure my headache can also cure my problem skin!
