Beauty Stop Hot Pick – BYS Animal Instincts Eyeshadow
I have recently been trialling BYS’ Animal Instincts Eyeshadow, which was kindly sent to me for review from Fashion Addict. Here is my road test.
Packaging
This comes in a quad style arrangement, as shown in the picture below.

Now, this arrangement confused me at first but I figured out eventually how each colour should be used. Or how I use them at any rate!
The top right colour is for the lid. The bottom left colour is for the crease and outer corner. The other two colours are for contrast. I use the bottom right colour for the part between my brow bone and my lid, and the top left colour for the brow bone. I find this works really well to graduate and blend the colours.
Quality of Product
If you’re looking for a cheaper version of MAC colours, then I highly recommend giving these a try. It’s not hard to get a great, long-lasting look so long as you use an eye primer and blend the colours really well. I’ve done a few swatches using different palettes from the collection to show you how great these can look.
Purples
Naturals

Value for Money
Given these are cheap dupes for MAC, they are really good value for money. I love that this brand is so cheap yet so good. In these tough times, great value, great quality makeup is hard to find. With BYS, you don’t even have to try hard to make the products look good. They stand on their own.
