After my somewhat disastrous foray with Proactiv, my skin has been suffering a little and has been in need of some deep moisture.  So I tried Cetaphil’s Moisturizing Cream which promises to help alleviate dry and flaking skin.

This is a very heavy and dense cream.  It smears on very heavily and, even after you’ve rubbed it in, you can still feel it sitting on your face.  However, within an hour of applying it, that greasy feeling was gone and my skin was already feeling softer.  After three days of use each night before I went to bed, my skin was back to normal.

I should warn you all that this is most definitely not an everyday type of cream.  I’m finding I might use it once a week when my skin is drying out.  If I use it anymore than that, my skin starts to feel greasy and oily. 

However, as an emergency moisture injection cream, it’s super!

Pros: Helps dry skin almost immediately

Cons: Can feel greasy on the skin
