I know a few of you have been looking forward to my review of Dr Brandt’s Pores No More.  There is so much buzz about this product but it’s expensive.  Really expensive.  So as it worth the expense?  Read on…

Packaging (2/5)

This is one of those products where the tube is reasonably small and, yet, for whatever reason, the manufacturers insist on encasing it in a huge box.  Utterly pointless.

As for the tube itself, you press down on the nozzle to get the product out.  The only problem with this, and I found this out pretty quickly thankfully, was that product can just squirt out.  Given the price of this product, wasted product spurting everywhere is kinda heartbreaking. I found that a gentle pressure is enough for a small dollop of product (as shown below).

Overall, the packaging is a little disappointing.  This stuff is liquid gold.  I wish they’d spend less on the cardboard and more on the nozzle.

Quality of Product (5/5)

Ok, I’ll be straight up.  This product does EXACTLY what it says it will.  As you can see in the ‘before’ and ‘after’ shots above I went from having a nose that looks like an ancient volcano to a smooth canvas.  The ‘after’ shot is me wearing a thin layer of the Pores No More.  Pretty cool, huh?

The texture is surprisingly light.  When the product comes out of the tube, it looks heavy and foundation like.  Yet it applies like a mousse, is easily blendable and dries in less than thirty seconds.  I’ve found that, on some days, I ditch the foundation because this product covers up what I most want covered.  Superb!

Price (2/5)

Here is the killer part.  This tube costs $45.  So not cheap.  Definitely an extravagant purchase for me.

Would I Buy Again (5/5)

But would I buy again?  You better believe it.  This is one of those rare products that promise you the earth and totally delivers on that promise.  The proof is in the before and after shots.  If that doesn’t convince you guys, I don’t know what will.
