Anastasia Soare is a legend amongst Hollywood celebrity.  She has shaped some of the most famous brows in Tinseltown, including Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Sharon Stone and Renee Zellweger.  That’s one heck of a brow pedigree.

So I was thrilled when Anastasia sent me some of her at home products for me to try. 

I started with the Five Item Brow Kit.  Included in this kit is:

• tweezers
• brow powder
• brow stencils
• duo angled / spooley brush
• brow gel.

The first step was to get my eyebrow shape right.  To do this, I used a brow stencil which, effectively, gives you the perfect shape to work with.  I applied the brow stencil and then filled the shape with brow powder using the angled brush.  I then removed the stencil and, using the tweezers, plucked any hair that were not covered by the stencil.  I then finished with the brow gel to hold the shape in place.

I really loved using this kit for a number of reasons.  First of all, it took all the guesswork out of shaping my brows.  I usually don’t touch my eyebrows in between consultations with my brow specialist, with the result that they end up looking like furry caterpillars.  This is the perfect product to keep unruly brows in place.

Also, the quality of the products is totally sublime.  The tweezers are like a work of art, whilst the brow gel is strong enough to hold my unruly brows in place all day without looking cakey and stiff.  You can tell that a lot of thought has gone into these products.
