Beauty Stop Hot Pick – Garnier Pure Shine Control Moisturiser

I’m always on the lookout for a day time moisturiser that will help control my oily skin.  So I gave Garnier’s Pure Shine Control Moisturiser a go.  Here are the results.

Packaging 4.5/5

This comes in a box (which I threw out before I took the photo, sorry!)

Garnier Pure Moisturiser

The product itself is just a plastic tube with a nozzle.  Exactly the way I like products – uncomplicated and it’s easy to get the product out.  The only problem is that the nozzle is tiny so, if you have any spillages, you can’t get the cream back into the tube easily.  But that’s a really minor problem.

Quality

Garnier Pure Cream

This is a lovely daytime cream.  It smooths on easily and you only need a small amount.  It goes on like a lotion (ie more runny) rather than a thick cream, which is great for my skin (which hates to feel suffocated).

And it works!  Normally, my skin is an oil slick an hour after I put on my moisturiser.  With this, it’s at least 3-4 hours before I start to get oily around my T-zone.

It works beautifully under makeup, acting alot like a primer in the way it holds the makeup on.

Price

This is a great value for money buy.  You only need a small amount (the amount shown above is enough to cover my face).

Would I buy again?

Absolutely, I already have re-stocked!
