Ok, I’ve given in to MAC.  I admit it.  I love it.  I dream about it.  I spend hours trawling through the MAC website.

My latest obsession is the Fluidline Gel Liner.  Here is my review (you know it’s going to be good, right).

Packaging

The packaging of this is typical MAC.  Sturdy and oh so cute.  This comes in a pot formulation which I always like as it’s easy to get through to all of the product.

My product came with a little brush which is great because I don’t have a quality gel liner brush.

Quality of Product

Ok, let me just say straight up that this is the best gel liner I’ve used.  And I’ve used a few.  Hundred.

You cannot muck up your eyeliner when you use this.  It’s just impossible.  It glides on smoothly.  And it stays on all day.  I can put this on at 8am and it will still be going strong at 11pm, with no smudging or fading.

This is a work horse that does its job and does it well.  I can’t fault it.  Well, except for the fact that it’s useless on the waterline (although I’m told that you’re not supposed to wear this on the waterline, so that’s not really a criticism of the product).

Value for Money

As with MAC, you pay more than you would for another brand.  But, in this case, it’s totally worth it.  The pot isn’t large but you don’t need to use much of it.  I suspect this will last me upwards of six months which is an amazing life span when you remember that it’s eyeliner we’re talking about here.
