As you guys can probably guess, I’m a total MAC addict at the moment. Everything I buy seems to be MAC, a dupe of MAC or just reminds me of MAC.

I recently trialled MAC’s Sheertone Shimmer blush Plum Foolery. Here is my road test. I apologise in advance for no photos. My camera has gone ka-phooey and I need to buy a new one. I promise I will take some photos when I can.

Packaging

This comes in basic MAC packaging. A neat little compact with a clear lid. Typical MAC style. Nothing to get excited about.

Product

Alot of people seem to think that MAC is hype. And yes, some of it is. But there are some products and colours that are classics and which everyone should have in their makeup arsenal. Plum Foolery is one of these products.

A deep plum shimmer with gold undertones. It’s beyond gorgeous.

You can go as light or as easy with this as you like. Which makes it perfect for day time wear or night. Just dust a little with a large powder brush and away you go. Set with a finishing powder, this lasts all day and requires zero touch up.

Price

This is $18.50. Which doesn’t make it cheap but you don’t use much of it thanks to MAC’s uber pigmentation. I suspect it will take me the better half of a year (of daily use) before I hit the pan. Which makes this pretty good value.

In short, this is a great product and something I highly recommend.
