I love easy to use and flexible products, so it’s little wonder that I was very attracted to Manicare’s All-In-One formula.

This product claims to contain a base coat, a top coat, as well as a strengthening formula.  Music to my ears on paper, but how did this perform?

One word – exceptional. 

As a base coat, this protected my nails beautifully – even when I used my red colours.  I was so surprised, when I removed the polish, to see my nails still pink, with no signs of any yellowing or staining.

As a top coat, this product will give you a high shine and gloss.  I found I got so many compliments on my nails wearing this.  Some were convinced my nails weren’t ‘real’ – ie that I was using some form of acrylic or gel nails.  Others swore I must have just been to the bathroom and had wet hands.  That’s how good the shine effect is.

Better still, the formula is such top quality that it made my polish last a full ten days – that’s right, 10 days – before I started to get chips and wearing away at the edge of the nail.  Even then, the chips and wearing away were the only signs that I needed to remove the polish.  The shine was the same as the day I applied it.

As for the claim of the product being a strengthener.  I’ve only been using it a few weeks.  I’ve had no chips or breaks but my nails are naturally very strong so I don’t know whether the product can take the credit or whether it’s just me.

Overall, I absolutely love this product.  It is proof that you don’t need to spend alot to get top notch results.  I may never use another base / top coat again.
