I was picking up some OPI and China Glaze colours on the weekend (I will be swatching these soon, they are amazing colours) when I saw Nails Alive – Dry Hard on the counter.

This product promises to dry your nail polish in 45 seconds.  Did it stand up to the test?  Read on to find out.

Packaging (4/5)

The packaging on this is pretty standard.  It comes as is – with no pointless superfluous packaging.  The only thing that annoyed me was that the sticker on the front of the bottle is crooked!  Crooked!  Check the picture out above!

Quality of Product (5/5)

This is actually quite a thick formula and, unlike other nail dry formulas, it doesn’t go greasy or oily on the nail.

It actually smoothes on like a top coat but you don’t see it dry like a top coat.  I don’t know what it does, or where the polish goes.  It seems to just absorb miraculously.

So, did it harden my nails in 45 seconds.  You bet it did!  My nails weren’t just touch dry.  They were hard.  I tried to make indents into them and couldn’t.  This stuff is pretty amazing.

Price (5/5)

The bottle is HUGE.  And I don’t find I use much.  One dip of the brush into the bottle is enough for one whole hand.

I predict this bottle will last at least 8-12 months which makes it amazing value for money.

Would I buy again?

Absolutely, you better believe it.  Ok, the label is crooked and, for some reason, that distracts me endlessly when it comes to the product, but this is a product that says what it does.
