Ok, so it’s no secret that I am quietly (and rather desparately, I should add) in love with Exuviance.  So when I got the chance to trial some more of their products, this little duck said ‘Yes please’ straight away!

One product I got to try was Exuviance’s SkinRise Morning Bionic Tonic.  This product contains a triple blend of polyhydroxy acids and a marine botanical that act together to moisturise and condition the skin.  This product is ideally used in the morning, after cleansing, but before you apply your moisturiser and makeup. 

The product comes packed in a bottle with 30 little single-use pads that are infused with the product.

This product is super easy to apply.  I just took a pad and wiped it over my entire face.  Unlike a toning solution, this product does not instantly absorb into the skin.  It stays on your skin, which means that, afterwards you will have to massage this in. 

At first, I was a little sceptical of this product.  I wiped some on my face, massaged it in and followed up with my moisturiser.  Although my skin felt cool and refreshed, it also felt kind of greasy and sticky.  I though, ‘Oh no, will my love affair with Exuviance end’.  Never fear, however.  Within ten minutes, my skin was soft and supple.  The tonic and moisturiser had absorbed into my skin, leaving me with skin so soft that my three year old said ‘Mama, your face is squishy today’.  I’ve learn that I need to let my skin rest and absorb this stuff before I start even thinking about makeup.

The best thing about this product was the impact it had on my makeup.  On the very first day of using this, I did not have to blot or reapply my makeup.  It was like this lotion had prepped my skin so beautifully that my makeup just didn’t want to slide south!  It wanted to stay on my face forever!  I’ve never had that prior to using this tonic.

So, am I still in love?  ABSOLUTELY!  Who knew skin heaven could come in a jar!
