Beauty Stop Hot Pick – Too Faced Shadow Insurance
It was only a matter of time before I trialled this cult classic. So here are my thoughts on Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
Packaging 5/5

The packaging of this is a basic tube. Which I like because it makes application super hygienic and easy. Like Urban Decay’s Primer Potion, I suspect I will still need to cut this open eventually to make sure I get every last drop of the product, but, overall, packaging is an absolute winner.
Quality of Product 5/5
You only need a tiny amount of this – basically, a pin head amount. Although it comes out looking like a darkish brown, it dries to a nice, matte finish.
This is totally amazing when it comes to a) bringing out the vibrancy of shadows; and b) holding the shadows in place. Colours just seem brighter and ‘pop’ on the eye.
And it lasts. I can apply my shadow at 7am and, 12 hours later, the shadow is just as vibrant as it was at 7am. It is also excellent for holding eyeliner in place.
Value for Money 4/5
This isn’t cheap but, given you don’t use much, and you won’t have to reapply shadow through the day so you save on reapplication costs.
Overall, I am in love with this. It makes me want to wear shadow all the time, just so that I can gaze at my beautiful eyes. If you buy this, you won’t regret it.
