Beauty Stop ‘Hot Picks’ – Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish
I always thought Elizabeth Arden was for older women. So, either I’ve become one of those older women, or Elizabeth Arden have become a brand for all ages. I prefer to believe the latter.
I tried the Flawless Finish Mousse Makeup and can’t speak highly enough of it. Could this be my foundation Holy Grail?
The formulation is extraordinarily light, which allows you to aim for either a sheer tint, or build up for medium to heavy coverage. This is great as I can use it seven days a week. I can go for sheer on the weekends, but aim for medium coverage during the week at work.
One thing I loved about the product is that it stays put. After gliding on smoothly, it dries to a matte finish. And it stays there. Normally, I have to blot or re-powder at least twice a day. With this product, I don’t have to do either. It has staying power.
Best of all, it looks like I’m not wearing anything. I’ve had compliments about my skin and have considered whether I should just take the credit or fess up that it’s all down to Elizabeth Arden.
I’ve been using foundations for nearly 20 years. This is, without question, the best formulation I have seen. A light, barely there product that offers you great coverage. What more could you ask for in a foundation?
Pros – Light consistency, evens out complexion, can be used for sheer to medium coverage
Cons – Packaging does not allow you to see how much is left, no SPF so you will need to wear an SPF moisturiser underneath.
