Beauty Stop ‘Hot Picks’ – MediBeam

If you’re anything like me, your skin is clear and blemish free – except when it comes to THAT time of the month. For me, I revert to being a teenager, desperately trying to fight the marauding citizens of Zit City.

For the last month, I’ve test driven four of the world’s most highly revered zit treatments, to find out what works best in banishing pimples. Stay tuned over the next four days to see the results.

I decided to start my trial with MediBeam.

MediBeamMediBeam uses light therapy to both help reduce the bacteria that cause infection and stimulate the natural repair mechanisms of the skin.

Treatment using MediBeam is relatively simple. Just hold the unit over the affected area twice daily, for around five minutes. That’s it. When it comes to easy-peasy solutions, it doesn’t come much better than this.

But did it work? Absolutely. On the Monday I started the trial, a pimple appeared on my chin that was in danger of needing its own food supply. Normally, these types of pimples gorge on my face for a week. Using MediBeam, the zit had all but disappeared within three days.

The only sticking point is the price. At $200, this is a premium product. Pricey but it doesn’t run out like a cream.

Pros: easy to use, very effective, painless

Cons: price
