I have been envious of Katharine Hepburn’s cheekbones since I saw her in ‘Woman of the Year.’ I wanted Tess Harding’s glorious face shape. Unfortunately, I wasn’t blessed with the delicate features. Instead, I am an oval to round. Lucky for all of us, there are a few tricks we can use to score beautiful features.
Contouring your face is a craft that can instantly give you a makeover with the need of surgery or prayer. Create an illusion of a concave hallow with bronzer. Use a product with matte finish that is two shades darker than your natural skin tone.
Use a light hand here. Too heavy and you will look like Lindsay Lohan during a probation hearing. Brush the bronzer under your cheekbone.
Target the area above your jawline, but well below where you’d normally put your basic blush.
Next, dab some of the bronzer on your chin and temples. Just a light dusting will make a huge difference. Follow with a light blush to highlight the top of your bronzed cheeks. Anything that is lighter than your natural skin tone will make an area more prominent. On the other side of the coin, anything darker will make that area recede.
If you are rocking a wider nose, shade alongside your bridge starting from your inner brows. Next, highlight the center of your nose.
