Clarins Beauty Flash Balm is supposed to give your skin an instant pick me up, whether you’ve had a hard night or you’re about to have a hard night.  Worn either on its own or under makeup, it promises to make your skin glow.

I loved the texture of this product.  It smoothed on like a rich night cream, however it was completely non-greasy and easily absorbed.  Within minutes of applying, my skin felt just like a baby’s - smooth and buttery soft.   And it really did give my skin a lift and glow.

I found it worked best on its own, although it can be worn under makeup.  I have oily skin that tends to sweat when it’s covered by too much product, so I suspect that’s why the product worked better on its own. 

This is a lovely product that certainly lives up to the hype.  At $55, it’s not cheap but if you use it only when you need it, I think you’ll find it great value for money.

Pros: Non greasy, easily absorbed, it works!

One of the hottest products for this coming summer will be Clarins’ Shimmer Body Oil.

Whether you are lounging away by the pool, or having dinner with friends, this lovely product will refresh and hydrate your skin, and leave you with a glow normally reserve for Hollywood celebrities.

Hot tip: flick just a smidge of the oil through your hair. It will give your locks a beautiful scent.
