Laura Mercier’s Black Gold Kohl Eye Pencil promises to give your eyes a shimmery smoky effect. 

I often find pencils to be quite harsh on the skin, tending to drag the eyelid and giving me an uneven look as a result.  This pencil is actually very soft, and becomes more so the more you use it, which makes application super easy.

The colour is exactly what it’s described as.  Black gold.  The black is inky and dramatic, but lifted by the subtle flecks of gold.  This is so the perfect eye liner for a big night out.

But don’t think for a second that evenings is the only place you can wear this.  With a light enough hand, this eye liner is great for workwear.  It will give your eyes a hint of interest, but won’t be overpowering.

I loved this eye pencil.  It will definitely become part of my regular rotation!
