Right now, I have I’m With Brad by OPI on my toes–that name always makes me giggle, and the old stand-by French manicure on my fingernails because I’m on the laptop 26 hours a day and I really don’t care to deal with chips. As for the toe-sitch, it’s cold and wet here in the Seattle-area, so no open-toed shoes ’round these parts.

“Grey Suede” – Revlon Nail Enamel – $3.04 at Target

I’d like to start using a gorgeous Revlon nail enamel called, Grey Suede on my fingernails.  How do we feel about mismatched fingers and toes?  I think it’s just fine, as long as we’re not mixing orange and pinks.  Or reds and corals.

Hmmm….I think I better check with Patrick again just to be on the safe side.

Putting aside the fact that I HATE the Sephora by OPI bottles, Leaf him at the Altar is a glorious, forest green.

Like all Sephora by OPI lacquers, the formula on this is gorgeous. You can get away with one coat, but two is better.

And, seriously, how could you resist that green?!

First, we had the Alice in Wonderland Collection and, now, it’s time for Shrek!

Here is a sneak peak of the new Shrek Forever After Collection. Personally, I can’t wait to get my hands on ‘What’s with the Cattitude’. It looks like an amazing green.

Who isn’t hypnotized by the upcoming Alice in Wonderland movie?

OPI certainly is and their Alice in Wonderland collection is a keeper. If you want to try the collection without spending a fortune, buy the minis. I have and they’re the perfect size. And absolutely adorable.

Tim Burton’s re-up of Disney classic Alice in Wonderland hasn’t hit theaters yet, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t already influencing fashion and beauty looks for spring.

Both Urban Decay and OPI are coming out with capsule collections to partner with the forthcoming movie, starring Johnny Depp, and to say that the new products will appeal to the childlike sensibility in all of us is probably an understatement.

Like the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland palette seen above, both collections are expected to contain the kind of bright, trippy colors that can be expected from a Tim Burton remake of an already-trippy movie. Anyone remember his version of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?”

The collections should debut in the next few months.

Here is how it looked on me:

How absolutely beautiful is that!  This looks black from a distance but it’s definitely an emerald green.  A very deep, dark emerald green.  Love it!

This is a three coat polish.  The photo below shows that the colour on my index finger (which had three coats) is alot more even and deep than the other nails (which only had two).
