Air Touch is a spray foundation, which makes it unique amongst foundations. It also made me sceptical. Could it really give me the medium coverage that my skin requires?

I was pleasant surprised at how easily it goes on. You literally spray for a few seconds onto your face and that’s it. No blending. No rubbing. Just spray, wait for it to dry and that’s it. I can finally throw out my foundation and blending brushes.

Because the application was so light, I didn’t need to use translucent powder to set the foundation. The foundation stayed in place, with only a small oil breakout five hours after application. This breakout was easy to control with blotting paper, without disturbing the foundation.

There were a couple of things I didn’t like, however. The shade range is limited, with the result that I didn’t get a perfect match for my olive skin tone.

It also doesn’t have an SPF, so you will need to use SPF underneath, to ensure your skin is protected.

All up, this foundation does live up to expectations. For a busy working woman like myself, a five second foundation application is very appealing, and something I would pay a premium for.

Pros: Flawless application, long lasting, beautiful packaging
