Yeah, I know.  I can’t get past the Lego suit, either, but I won’t get into that right now.   So, yeah.  Orange.  All the rage?  Or just too Halloweeny?  I know just how horrible I would look wearing the sunshiney tones…I can’t even wear orange clothing.  My skin turns a lovely shade of Kermit the Frog-green.  Purrrr-deee.

Blondes are going through hue envy. The old saying states that blondes have more fun, but stars and women in the office are going brown.

In a recent survey done by Superdrug in England, the worldwide recession has everyone scrambling to retain the jobs. So the ranks of blondes are desperate to be taken seriously. According to the survey 1 in 3 women have dyed their hair in effort to be more demure. A rep for the company told London’s Daily Mail of their findings.

“The current economic climate is obviously making women take more care with their appearance at work, even down to their hair colour. The study shows brunettes do seem to be taken more seriously in the work place which is causing a rise in fair headed women darkening their locks. It’s incredible how changing your hair colour can alter people’s perception of you as well as making you feel more confident too.”

Recently Scarlett Johansson, who is known for her golden locks and sex appeal, went brunette. She has gone back and forth between hues before. Fergie has also jumped on the brunette bandwagon. She showed up to 34th annual March of Dimes Beauty Ball with the sleek brown do looking professional and down to earth. Personally I like it. This one is a hit.
