Harahuku Mini, by Gwen Stefani – Target – Coming Soon!

I love how Gwen is totally involved with the promotion of her kids’ collection with photos and all — and we all know Mrs. Rossdale certainly doesn’t have to be in the advertising herself to sell these darling items.

The collection ranges from $3.99 to $29.99 and will hit stores and online November 13th.  (I say go to Target online first thing that day–you’ll beat the rush, and won’t get an elbow in eye. I’ve learned the hard way too many times.)

” [It] is a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to do a cool childrens fashion line inspired by the super cute and playful kids’ clothing you find in Japan. The whole idea is about being creative, expressing your own individuality, and having fun getting dressed.”

Just sayin’.  Oh, and meet Felix!

I know a certain cool three year-old little man who may just be sporting some of Gwen’s clothing; he IS the coolest li’l dude in nursery school, after all!  (Look closely at his shirt…”The Dude”.)

Target has given me the creative freedom to design kid’s clothing that is different than most anything you usually see out there with great quality, attention to detail and most of all, available at amazing prices.”

Gwen knows a thing or two about dressing little boys!

It’s being reported that the first portion of Harajuku Mini to hit stores will be for babies and boys…something Gwen knows a lot about, what with two little boys of her own, Kingston and Zuma.  This collection is bound to sell out fast!

Gwen in custom L.A.M.B Couture

Remember when Gwen’s husband rocker, Gavin Rossdale used to be “The Pretty One”?  He still is good looking, don’t get me wrong–it’s just that Gwen, (at age 41!) is spectacular.   I love everything about this look she rocked for the Cannes amfAR Gala yesterday–the dark eye, the pale lip and the Valley of the Dolls hair?  I can hardly catch my breath.

Check out Gwen on this evening’s red carpet for Sean Penn’s “This Must Be the Place” premiere in black and white Armani Prive’.

The silhouette of this gown  is timeless and the black and white is always great on Gwen.  I actually prefer her hair and the L.A.M.B. gown from last night, but I prefer this face.  (We all know how I feel about red lipstick.)

I cannot stop staring at Gwen!

Fine.  Maybe I’ll put some effort into the leg department…meh.  More than likely, I’ll just put some effort into getting those red shoes on my feet.

When questioned about her most recent show, Gwen described the many facets and levels this collection:

“It’s one collection, but like subcategories, which are always my inspiration,” she explained.

“We have Raggamuffin girl, we got a soldier girl, we got an English girl, we got a glamour girl, we got a buffalo girl.”

I’m sure it’s no surprise that my favorite “sub-category” of Gwen’s current collection is “Glamour Girl“.  I love the black and white print and draping of the pantsuit above.   It’s a bit late-70′s in structure and quite Studio 54, if you will.  Bianca Jagger most certainly would have rocked this look in 1978.

Pre-colored and pre-treated hairpieces were of major importance on the runway, and can be easily (?) used in everyday life.  Why damage your own hair when you can add pieces, as Gwen demonstrates with her giant, ultra-glam bun.

So who’s going to help me “do” my hair into a delicious, giant Cinnabon?  Heaven knows I can’t do it on my own!
