The scent is made of pink peppercorn, pear and mandarin top notes; a mimosa absolute, sunflower, and lily of the valley heart; and musk cosmone, vanilla and Venezuelan tonka bean drydown.   Heidi told WWD , “there are different moods that as a fragrance creator you can travel to. But for my first one, I wanted what I felt my staple would be. I wanted it to be sensual and feminine, but still luxurious and expensive-smelling – because I think there are so many perfumes out there that smell cheap and too sweet.” 

Shine is set to hit stores in September and will range from $17-$35. Pretty reasonable, I think! Will you try Heidi’s new fragrance?

Created by the designer who is responsible for the Victoria Secret Angel Wings, this costume has Heidi standing at 8 Feet tall. She will definitely be the center of attention at her annual Halloween Ball.

Heidi always manages to look sexy but not too over the top risque. We approve! Creative and unique costumes are the best way to go on Halloween.

These celebs’ major hair malfunctions will make you wonder what they did to piss off their stylists, if they even have one.

Christina Aguilera has sported a lot of questionable hairstyles over the years — from multicolored highlights to crazy cornrows — but her current bleached-blond bob loses major points for lack of originality since it’s pretty much a rip-off of Lady Gaga‘s signature style. And just like lace face masks and circle lenses, there are certain things only Gaga can get away with.

Technically, Britney Spears‘ worst hair moment of all time was when she decided that she didn’t need any and shaved her head. Sadly, things don’t seem to have improved much since her hair has grown back. The pop star constantly steps out with ratty extensions that make her look like she has the mange.

At first we thought that Mena Suvari was wearing some kind of strange hat, but after a closer look, we can confirm that the thing sitting on her head is indeed her hair. And the worst part: The updo is French braided up the back, prom-style. That’s two major hair offenses rolled into one horrifying look.

It’s hard to believe that there was a time when we totally coveted Mischa Barton‘s mane. Those sun-kissed highlights! Those glossy waves! If the O.C.’s Marissa Cooper, could see the star now, we’re certain that she would like, totally barf, over these fake-looking, Barbie-esque extensions.

When Kelly Osbourne first dyed her hair lavender we actually thought it looked kind of cool. But now that the color is more gray than purple (not to mention those lunch lady-inspired curls), the only place that this look would be considered trendy is on a box of Betty Crocker.

In all fairness, Katherine Heigl had to dye her gorgeous blonde hair dark brown for a movie role, so we won’t rag on her about the color. But what’s her excuse for this ’80s-news-anchor-meets-politician’s-wife bouffant? We can only imagine how many cans of hair spray had to die to achieve this helmet hairdo. As the mother of four children, it’s entirely possible that Heidi Klum didn’t have enough time to blow-dry her hair before running to this red carpet event. However, we have a very bad feeling that her wet-looking, slicked-back style was done intentionally.

Taylor Momsen‘s Rapunzel-goes-Goth extensions are so long and straggly, we actually miss that weird mullet cut she used to have (and that’s saying a lot). Oh, and no one was even remotely surprised when the wannabe rock star recently told mtv.com that she doesn’t brush her hair.

If you stood on Cassie‘s left side, you would assume that she had a lovely head of hair. And you would be half right. The singer shaved one side of her head, writing on Twitter “sometimes in life you need a change.” Yeah, that’s what a few face-framing layers or some pretty highlights are for.

At first we thought that My Bloody Valentine actress, Jaime King, was headed to a costume party, where she dressed up as some sort of alien with crazy hair. But she actually sported these finger-in-the-socket curls to an awards show. Yikes!

We’re usually fans of Rihanna‘s envelope-pushing style, but we just couldn’t get behind her cherry Kool-Aid colored, half-shaved bowl cut. (Just writing that made us woozy.) Luckily, her hair is starting to grow out and our fingers are crossed that her next look won’t be quite as aggressive as this one.

Maybe arriving at the London premiere of The Back-Up Plan with her hair styled in a way that can only be described as “fancy bird’s nest” was Jennifer Lopez‘s misguided attempt to distract people from the rom-com bomb.

Who do you think sported the worse celebrity hair?

I’m kind of torn over Heidi Klum‘s look at the Project Runway Season 8 premiere last night. Let me explain.

On the one hand, I love the precision of her eye makeup. It’s dramatic without looking overworked, and the tightness of her liner is something to which all makeup lovers aspire. I also like her hair…I think. I like that it’s off her face and not too perfectly done, but it might be just a tad tall.

What’s throwing me off, however, is the rest of her look. Her lips are too pale, even though I realize that she was trying to play up her eye instead. Perhaps a gloss would have been a more effective way to do it without looking totally washed out. As it is, her skin and lips are both matte and the same color, and I don’t love it. But overall, I think she looks nice.

But this fall the designer will be following in the stylish footsteps of the show’s supermodel host Heidi Klum, who has her own signature makeup collection with Victoria’s Secret, and branching into beauty with a glam new collection of his own for the brand.

The limited-edition Christian Siriano for Victoria’s Secret Makeup will include five shadow shades, black liner, three gloss colors, a bronzer-highlighter, makeup brush and a ruffled cosmetic bag. Prices for the collection will start at $12 for eyeliner and top out at $32 for the luxe face brush.

Jessica Biel was disappointing. Her messy hair just looked unkempt. I think I see what she was going for and perhaps this was an attempt at something similar to Angelina Jolie’s artfully careless hairstyle. But this is a swing and a miss. Plus….where are her eyebrows? And then…..Heidi Klum…oh dear, sweet Heidi Klum! What were you thinking? This was so very disappointing. Her hair is slicked down to her head in a dreadful way. I believe she was attempting to bring the focus to her dress and ample amounts of accessories, but it is just a huge and resounding miss.

Lisa Rinna takes home the gold in horrible hair choices. This was flat out scary! The lips, the hair the eyeliner was beyond over the top. I have seen better makeup tricks and hairstyles at mall fashion shows.

I adore Project Runway. The show is blend of fashion and reality tv that always leads to a kooky style creation. One constant on the show is Heidi Klum. She always looks radiant.

Before red carpets and press heavy events Heidi has one beauty rule that is never to be broken.

“I try to live a healthy balanced life always, so I don’t do anything different before the big day (red carpet). I think you get into trouble if you’re experimenting with crazy or drastic beauty treatments the day before!”

This is one piece of advice that is true for everyone.

The Project Runway queen always looks stunning. With Seal on her as the perfect accessory, she can’t miss. Heidi Klum is a hit in her slinky attire.

Carrying a modest purse doesn’t leave too much room to pack reinforcements. Always pack some gloss and mascara.

Most likely if you need a touch up it is going to be your eyes or lips.

The color to wear to the 2008 Oscars was red. The scarlet hues dominated the carpet as Anne Hathaway, Katherine Heigl, Ruby Dee, Helen Mirren and Miley Cyrus each wore the color well. Heidi Klum was a hit in her John Galliano dramatic dress. Noticeably each dress had a bit of train that followed behind the lean ladies in a divine style that commanded your attention.

What made Heidi stand out among the bevy of women to be fearless with the bold choice? Her complimenting makeup was simple and focused on the eyes. Her peepers were bright and sparkled with glamour without being over the top.

When you are opting for the dramatics choose to either focus on your eyes or your lips. Never both. When wearing a red gown a nude or soft pink lip is complimenting and understated.
