Now we have this:  Kate is dressed up like my David Bowie yet again.  (Halloween is OVER, sister.)  Between Kate Moss and Tilda Swinton, my hair is constantly on fire.

I’m sorry I’ve trailed off the usual fashion/beauty track here.  I’m just in a snit over these chicks constantly trying to embody the Male Music and Fashion Icon that IS David Bowie.  Oh, and when is Queen Elizabeth going to honor him with Knighthood for bloody sake?

I’m gonna come right out with it:  I wish Mila Kunis had been chosen as the Face of Dior Addict.  She IS the new “It-Girl“, after all.

I think Mila would have been a wiser choice to woo the next generation of Christian Dior Beaute` “addicts”.   So there.

CHRISTOPHER KANE FOR LANCOME JUICY TUBES

British designer Christopher Kane, loved by Kate Moss and Chloe Sevigny, has partnered up with Lancome to launch nine limited-edition Juicy Tubes World Tour glosses.

Each tube features one of the designer’s deco-inspired illustrations and a shade inspired by his global travels like Red Hot New York.

So I was really excited to try their Vinyl Stars Lip Gloss.

The gloss itself is applied with a wand which puts me off immediately. I don’t like the idea of applying a gloss and then dipping the wand back into the formulation – germs and all. It also means that, if you intend to mix colours, be prepared for the applicator to suck whatever colour you are mixing with the gloss to become a permanent feature of the gloss.

And it was sticky. And I mean, STICKY. This is not the gloss to wear if your hair is planning to be anywhere near your lips.

But the colours themselves are gorgeous and sparkle enough to be interesting but not enough to make you look like a walking disco ball (which is a problem I find with alot of sparkly glosses).

I needed to re-apply this every three hours but, given the extraordinarily cheap price, that didn’t worry me. I can buy four of these in the same colour and it would still be a great buy!
