Kristen is actually a lovely, yet edgy choice for the yet un-named fragrance for Balenciaga.  The Twilight star joins French actress, Charlotte Gainsbourg, who will continue on as the face of Balenciaga Paris, their first fragrance, which was launched in 2010.

via WWD, Kristen stated:

“The brand is just cool. That’s the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable.”

I’m anxious to see the ad campaign in the Fall of the year.

The Bella Wedding Dress – $799 – Alfred Angelo

The official replica of Bella Swan’s wedding dress arrives in stores today, on the heels of a record-breaking opening weekend for the movie. Carolina Herrera designed the dress Kristen Stewart wears in the film.

Back in May, bridal retailer Alfred Angelo began working with Summit Entertainment to replicate the wedding dress in time for the film’s November premiere, under a confidentiality agreement that designer Michael Shettel jokes was “signed in blood.” The company, which used undisclosed code names for the Twilight dress project, limited its circle of principals involved to only about four people, the designer said. Mr. Shettel was also invited to the Los Angeles movie set to view the original dress.

The “Bella” dress shipped secretly to stores, with photos and inventory unveiled today.

The gown, which retails for $799 at Alfred Angelo stores nationwide, features long lace-trimmed sleeves, a Chantilly-inspired lace applique trim and a plunging cut-out illusion back. While the cinematic gown is in silk, the replica gown uses liquid satin. “The stitching on the bodice is the same, and the lace detailing is similar,” Mr. Shettel says. “There were pricing issues to try to get it down to $799. “

I have a feeling some young ladies might try to save up some money (or beg Daddy) in order to wear this to Prom, which really is the high school equivalent of a wedding, don’t you?  OR, maybe some gals will just purchase the gownfor their proverbial “hope chest” for when the do have a wedding to plan.

What do you all think of the dress?  I think it is indeed lovely, but I’m not a Twilight kind of girl, so it isn’t making me swoon.  No offense to those of you who are, though.

I’ve never seen Kristen Stewart appear more stunning. I wonder how she’ll look at the Academy Awards Sunday night. Fingers crossed that she’ll embrace the kind of iconic elegance she displayed in this lovely piece.

Hot pink lips are a staple that takes me back. I used to proudly wear my fuchsia lipstick that came in a plastic pack with three other hues ranging from purple to sparkly red. Now, it’s a revived trend that both the youth in Hollywood wear freely and the veterans display proudly.

Both Kristen Stewart and Chloe Sevigny wore the bright pink hue while at events. Chloe opted to keep it simple with a nude lid and lashes galore. Kristen used her favorite smokey eye to complete this look.

Ivana, I am a big fan of Kristen’s new hair. I absolutely love the way it frames her faces and emphasizes her gorgeous features.

To get this look, ask your hairdresser for razored layers, with choppy ends. Kristen’s hair is designed to look feathery and wispy at the ends, whilst bouncy and full at the top. For the fringe, a side swept fringe will compliment the rest of the look. Make sure your hairdresser uses a razor to give a choppy effect.

I love Kristen Stewart’s hair-before she cut it- but my problem is bangs. What kind of bangs does kristen have and how do I ask for them? I do have naturally wavy hair except that sometimes it behaves and sometimes it gets puffy and frizzy.

Ingrid, Kristen has long bangs so I’d suggest you’d ask for long bangs at the hairdresser.  To avoid the frizz, use an anti-frizz serum like Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Weightless Anti Frizz Serum.

Candice, it’s hard to tell exactly what colour it is.  I’ve done a bit of research, and I think L’Oreal Feria Multi-Faceted Shimmering Colour 3X Highlights Permanent Haircolour Gel 56 Brilliant Bordeaux – Auburn Brown is probably as good a match as you’ll find. And it’s cheap!

Stephenie Meyer’s book series and the “Twilight” film saga have inspired a range of beauty products.

You were probably as enraptured as I was by the vampires’ sparkly skin, flushed cheeks and juicy lips (especially Edward Cullen’s).

So it’s beyond fitting — and frankly, brilliant — that the phenomenon has spawned Twilight Beauty, which consists of two collections.

Creating the movie-tied makeup is Cristina Bartolucci, famous for her innovative beauty brand, DuWop. (Lip Venom ring a bell?)

Word is there will be a special “Twilight” edition of the cult-favorite lip plumper with one half of the tube’s vial’s contents resembling blood.

Better yet, the cast apparently wears the makeup in the second movie installment: “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” out November 20.

There’s two collections, LunaTwilight and Volturi, I’ll hit you with the highlights.

LunaTwilight is the more luxurious of the two offerings — the packaging is heartbreakingly gorgeous and the formulas are more sophisticated than the alternate collection.

I hate to tease you with some of the the product names before they’re available, but let’s be honest, I can’t help myself and you can’t wait: “First Light Body Glow,” “Mortal Glow Blushing Creme” and Color Palettes in “Bella,” “Rosalie,” “Alice” and “Victoria.” (I can’t wait to see “Alice” — she was my favorite.)

Volturi, the other Twilight Beauty collection, will strike a chord with those who’ve read the book.

The Volturi is the most feared and powerful coven of vampires, and that same dark, exciting sensibility can be felt in its products.

The Volturi family crest appears on the packaging and some standouts include “Deity Body Lotion,” “Immortal Body Shimmer” and “Crown Mascara” (shown left).

Everything I’ve seen can only be described as elegant and wicked.

Twilight Beauty will be available on its own site: TwilightBeauty.com, which isn’t live yet and an official launch date for the products has not been announced (though, it looks like it will be timed around the movie’s release), so stay tuned.

The teenager, yet acting vet, reigned supreme at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. Thanks to the Twilight saga, Kristen Stewart is now a household name. (Another film you might recognize her from is Panic Room.)

Stewart was playful in her look for the MTV Movie Awards. She combined a fun red and black dress with a pair of tennis shoes and left her hair in her signature messy, yet sexy do. Her eyes gave the ‘come hither’ look.
