How would you describe your make-up style?
Quick! I like to keep things quick and easy so I can be up and out in five minutes. I think you have to be when you have kids. You have to be ready to go all the time.

Did your mother or grandmother give you any beauty tips?
I think the thing I wish I’d heard was, “Wear more sunscreen!”

How has your skin changed from your twenties to your thirties?
Those things you think you need at 15 obviously change in your twenties and, now that I’m in my thirties, it’s definitely different. Skincare and sun protection are the biggest things for me.

My mother always suggests that a ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Sunscreen is practically in everything these days. Foundation, chap stick, tinted moisturizers (my personal favorite) and lotions it’s easy and affordable to work it into your daily make up routine.

I have a love/hate relationship with Reese Witherspoon. Basically the hate stems from raging jealousy as she has been romantically linked to two of the hottest men in Hollywood and seems to have it all. However, I love her talent and generosity.

She joined forces with Avon and has been an advocate for cancer organizations and charities. Reese is continuing her work with Avon and together they are producing a fragrance called In Bloom.

“In developing In Bloom, I found myself drawn to the scents of my childhood in Tennessee,” explains Reese Witherspoon. “We had a great big Magnolia tree in the back yard, and it’s that beautiful white blossom that inspired the perfume. In Bloom is indicative of where I am in my life today. I’m feeling very strong and independent, and so happy, so full of life. The fragrance truly captures that feeling­­—it’s very sensual, very romantic and alluring.”

The scent captures Witherspoon’s personality in a fragrance form. You can expect a mixture of soft florals and warm wood bases.
