Rosario Dawson is a lucky participant of Fashion Week. She is adorable and rarely a miss.

This isn’t the best pose for a picture, but I am guessing the photographers caught her mid-stride as she tried to head in. Sometimes posing can make or break a photo. A few tips to keep your stature in check have been used by many celebs, models and photographers.

For instance:

Never hold your breath in a pose. It shows on the finished photo and comes off as a concentrated pose.

Obviously keep your head up and shoulders back. Slouching appears extra sloppy in a photo. Put your chin at a slight angle up. This fights double chin appearances.

Put one foot slightly in front of the other. Bend one knee just a tad and keep your weight on your back leg. This gives a slimming effect.

Put one hand on your hip for some confident attitude and to help the illusion of a defined waist. Keep the other arm loose and relaxed. Don’t leave it flat against your side.
