Reese Witherspoon is doing some work with Avon. From fragrances to working with the cosmetics giant to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer, she has become the face, heart and soul of the company.
Reese attended Champions Who Change Women’s Lives looking effortlessly gorgeous. Her natural blond locks are the envy of many. Her chin is predominating, but she uses it to convey her disarming smile.
As she burst onto the scene as a sweetheart and won hearts over with a slew of romantic comedies and the loveably ditzy Elle Woods, she has grown into a mother of two and adjusting to the changes. No longer the teen making her way into the ranks of the A-List, Reese is taking a more preventative measure when it comes to her beauty secrets.
How would you describe your make-up style?
Quick! I like to keep things quick and easy so I can be up and out in five minutes. I think you have to be when you have kids. You have to be ready to go all the time.
Did your mother or grandmother give you any beauty tips?
I think the thing I wish I’d heard was, “Wear more sunscreen!”
How has your skin changed from your twenties to your thirties?
Those things you think you need at 15 obviously change in your twenties and, now that I’m in my thirties, it’s definitely different. Skincare and sun protection are the biggest things for me.
My mother always suggests that a ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Sunscreen is practically in everything these days. Foundation, chap stick, tinted moisturizers (my personal favorite) and lotions it’s easy and affordable to work it into your daily make up routine.
