The One Tree Hill starlet is a natural beauty. Sofia Bush makes being a brunette hot and reminds us that blondes don’t have all the fun.

In season 5 of the series, she sported extensions to get the long look without the hassle of waiting for her hair to reach her desired length. Upon getting them taken out she went on an impulse and cut her hair.

“Right after we wrapped, [my hairdresser] took out all my extensions, and I was like, ‘Oh my god, my hair is so much shorter than I thought’. I was like, ‘Well, screw it! Just cut it!’”

While I personally take hours picking over new styles, I think going with your gut can be beneficial and help you step out of the norm. Sometimes we can over think styles and fear the cliff of new style. So next time try and little impulsive decision making. However, you should always discuss that new bob or impulsive perm with your stylist first. Make sure your locks can stand the heat.
