The Internets are abuzz over two new pix of Angelina Jolie in costume for her role as spy Evelyn A. Salt, in the new action movie which started filming today.

The film was originally intended as a Tom Cruise vehicle, “Edwin A. Salt”. When Cruise dropped out, they decided to rework the script to turn the hero into a heroine, including giving her a gender appropriate name.

The leaked photos show two very different looks for Angie — a soft, pretty blond, and a more dangerous, sultry brunette.

We don’t yet know which one of these, if either, is the “real” Evelyn A. Salt, which we understand will be a central plot point in the film.

What we’re really curious about is whether these are the same wigs designed for Tom Cruise, or if they had to rework those, too.
