It’s been a little while since I’ve gushed written about Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge, hasn’t it?  William’s gorgeous wife wowed everyone in sight in her creamy white columnar dress by Roland Mouret.  The stunning gown is from the designer’s 2009 line, in which “Old Hollywood Glamour” actress Carole Lombard was the inspiration–hence the name of the dress, “Lombard”.

Take a good look at Kate’s gorgeous strappy stilettos.  This appears to be the same footwear The Duchess donned at the Hollywood BAFTA Gala last summer. Good for her, for “recycling” items in her wardrobe once again.  Check out the dark, vampy pedicure!

One other rather risque` move on Kate’s part: GONE are the flesh-toned nylons (stockings, tights, hosiery–whatever you call them).  Toned and tan with a slit up to THERE.  Sexy, but never vulgar.  Duchess Catherine is pure perfection.
