What girl doesn’t love a little glitz and glamour? Even if you’ve never worn sequins before, now’s the time to hop on the bandwagon and get a little sparkle in your life.

Dresses, leggings, sweaters, hats, vests, blazers – sequins are adorning anything and everything this season, in ways both retro and fashion-forward. Don’t be afraid to pile them on and really shine – if ever there was a season to do it, this is the one.

My personal recommendation would be to use them to create added texture in your outfits. Pairing them with knits, silks, and denim is a great way to take an average outfit up a few notches and wearing this look before it gets knocked off at Forever 21 will but you firmly among fashion’s glitterati.
