On the dystopian seascape of Alexander McQueen‘s spring runway at Paris Fashion Week, models had their hair contorted and shellacked in order to create looks reminiscent of sea creatures. But for the umpteenth time this season, we saw braids grace the runway, and that shouldn’t be overlooked.

So get creative, girls: try to braid yourself a headband. Next time you put your hair up, braid a few pieces before you start. If it’s a bad hair day, do a braid instead of a ponytail. This trend is here to stay.
