Avon Global Celebrity Makeup Artist, Lauren Andersen complemented Ali Larter’s stunning fuchsia floral frock by giving Larter clean, bronzed summer skin with a brush of berry color on the lips – perfect for a summer party. Here is how Andersen created Larter’s fresh face and bold lip…
Face: Andersen started with YSL Touche Éclat Foundation as a base, and layered on Armani Fluid Silk #3 on the cheeks with Lorac Blush in Exposed.
Eyes: Next, Andersen crimped Ali’s lashes and coated them with Avon’s Mega Effects Mascara to add volume and length.
Lip: Finally, Larter’s look was finished off with a swipe of Avon’s Totally Kissable Lipstick in Berry Smooch.
Bright and bold lips seem to be dethroning smokey eye trends for the summer. A tip I learned a long time ago to keep bold colors as bright as possible – start by lining and filling in your entire lip with a super light colored neutral. I’m talking almost white. At the center of your lip, dab a light pink shade to create a fuller lip.
I like the matte movement, so skip the gloss and rehydrate lips with a simple lip balm. After you have finished your lips, dab some loose powder around your pucker to hide any mistakes and help keep the shade in place.
