Go Green for Spring

Along with the revival of pastels, green will be the go-to color. I have already started wearing it despite a winter storm that has blown through and canceled school and my agenda for the day.

The hue is a personal favorite and is so versatile. To ease out of your winter color coma, start with emeralds and work into blue tinted tones.

I adore butter London’s lacquer line. The brand is free of harmful toxins so you really will be going green. My favorite transitional color is ‘Slapper;’ a traditional teal that thaws out my taste buds.

As the winter passes, the green will go lighter. Mints will be a popular this year and Kate Spade has an adorable mint scarf with a bow tie print.

Buxom has a gorgeous green that will play well with every eye color. Go for ‘Saint Bernard,’ a deep sea green, to make your peepers pop. Their ‘Stay-There Eye Shadow’ line is highly rated by users leaving feedback at Sephora and is formulated without: parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, phthalates, GMOs or Triclosan.
