Listen.  My eyesight went to hell in a hand basket after I had my first son.  All of a sudden, I could not see anything from a distance.  I started with contacts, then all of a sudden (read: 28 years later), I couldn’t wear contacts anymore; got Lasik surgery–and STILL need reading glasses.

Super hot, huh?

Yeah.  That pretty much how I felt.  The thing is, as you age, you don’t feel any different than when you were in your 30′s.  I dress sort of age-appropriate, but probably cooler than most 50-year olds.  But put those “old biddy reading glasses” on, and it all goes out the window.

Thank goodness for TJMaxx.
