Diane Kendal created the looks for Jason Wu’s 2013 Spring Fashion Week runway. The models were adorned with glittering gold and bronzed eyes. The look was feminine and glamorous. Diane complimented the bold style with a simple bare lip and glowing skin.
Here is how to do it! She used a mix of Lancome products to cater to the style. Lining lids with Le Crayon Khol in Black Coffee begins the sultry look. Run it along lash lines and crease, but make sure you are leaving the center of the lid bare. Next, smudge and blend it with a brush for extra control.
Using the Bronze Amour palette in Color Design Eye Brightening All-In-One Pan Shadows, the makeup wizard created the shimmering and smoldering effect. Pat on the gold shadow to the middle of your lid. Follow up by blending the bronze shadow on the outer and inner corners of your eye. Use the pearl shadow to highlight the inner corners of your eyes.
The look was finished off with Jason Wu for Lancome Artliner in Noir, Hypnose Star mascara and some gold glitter dusted across the crease of the eyes. The trick to getting the gold to stick – wet your brush to get maximum control of the gold and use tape to clean up any stray glitter.
For the lips, a simple swipe of Baume in Love in Rose in Love was used for a subtle and pretty pop.
