It was only a matter of time before Kristen Stewart awkwardly and reluctantly signed with a fashion house or fragrance line as their “New Face.”

Kristen is actually a lovely, yet edgy choice for the yet un-named fragrance for Balenciaga.  The Twilight star joins French actress, Charlotte Gainsbourg, who will continue on as the face of Balenciaga Paris, their first fragrance, which was launched in 2010.

via WWD, Kristen stated:

“The brand is just cool. That’s the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable.”

I’m anxious to see the ad campaign in the Fall of the year.
