Lollia Shea Butter Hand Creme – A New Favorite!
I was on vacation in Sun Valley, Idaho a couple of weeks ago and discovered a wonderful hand cream. I know this doesn’t sound like a big deal, but hang on. Initially, I was going to refer to Lollia Creme as one of “DivaJulia’s Favorite Things”–then I found out that Oprah had already done just that back when she highlighted products that she loved then gave everyone in her audience those very products. (“YOU get a full-sized tube of Lollia Creme! And, YOU get a full-sized tube of Lollia Creme!“) So, I’m a little late to the party. I’m assuming I’m not the only one.
Lollia – Shea Butter Hand Creme, Breathe 4.25 oz – $25
Sun Valley is very dry, in terms of the constant dampness I’m used to in Seattle. (Especially when I’m out at the pool “sizzling my skinny-fat” all bloody day.) I thought what I had been using was good enough to aid my dry skin, until I found Lollia Creme in a little French shop in town.
Fragrance Notes:
A floral heart of ruffled Peony and White Lily with sheer hints of fresh Grapefruit and Orange. A fresh air impression infused with leafy green notes surrounded by a hint of cool, mossy forest paths.
The Lollia signature fragrance. Light as a breeze fluttering over soft organza. Lush floral infusions of Peony & White Lily are at play with Lavender and Violet, creating a fresh fragrance that will become your everyday favorite. A luxurious botanical handcreme with rich Shea Butter and Macadamia Nut Oils to nourish hands. Each fine detail is thoughtfully presented to make this an aesthetic treasure outside and inside.
I could almost hear my skin saying, “ahhhhhh” upon application. Lollia is very rich and luxurious, without being greasy. A little goes a long way, as they say. I did use it on my arms and legs as well as my hands and feet. The scent is perfect; light, fresh and NOT powdery or cloying. It’s a lovely match with the Jo Malone White Jasmine and Mint fragrance that I wear daily; it blends and doesn’t compete. I noticed, too, that Lollia has their own fragrance to layer with the creme, as well as candles! Hmmmm…I did say I was fickle when it came to “signature” scents, didn’t I?
