As tempting as it is, and I’m guilty of this from time to time, makeup doesn’t cover up all sins.

Especially as we get older, less is most definitely more. I find that my 35 year old skin responds much better to lighter mineral foundations versus heavy liquid ones which, while initially providing me with great coverage, cake and sweat as the day goes on.

For me, I’m learning – albeit slowly – to embrace the lines and wrinkles. I work to minimize them by highlighting the stuff I do like. And, each morning, I do a quick comparison check to make sure I NEVER look like Mimi!
