See the Banned Project Runway Ad

In the land were perfect bodies are produced under the skilled hands of plastic surgeons, a new Project Runway ad has been banned.

The latest promo teasing the show’s return features Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn in Victorian garb. Sounds harmless enough, but the show’s frontrunners are surrounded by naked models. The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety has prohibited the ads deeming them inappropriate and falling into the category of “obscene matters.”

If you are in New York, the groveling nudes are no problem. A few glimpses of sideboob and the profile of a several derrieres are visible in the ad. Klum seems to be taking it well. She tweeted, “@ProjectRunway Designers! We need clothing for these people! Fast!” in response.

Season 12 of “Project Runway” premieres July 18 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime. I cannot decide if I am excited or not. The last few seasons have left a rather bland/bad taste in my mouth.
