I’ve never been particularly motivated by the “gift with purchase” deals that are so common at makeup counters across America – mostly they’re colors I don’t like and skincare that’s made for people with different types of skin than I have. I’m super pale and super dry – can someone out there please throw me a bone?

Well, it seems like Estée Lauder has figured out that their potential free-gift-wanters don’t all come in the same skin type, so with a $39.50 purchase, you get to pick all of your own stuff – there are four eye creams, four moisturizers, two color palettes, and four lipsticks to choose from (you get to choose two lipsticks, one each of everything else), and as a result, you might actually use some of the free swag that you get.
