Stop Press! Silk’n SensEpil

silkn-sensepil

I want so badly to believe that the Silk’n SensEpil works that I almost don’t want to write about it. I’m pale beyond words and have very dark, coarse hair, and it would be so utterly lovely to be able to buy a little machine and get rid of all of it for good.

Laser hair removal at a salon costs a million dollars (ok, not quite that much, but it might as well), and I’m just not vain or rich enough to put thousands into personal hair removal at this juncture. Could I put $500 into it? Maybe.

That’s how much the Silk’n machine costs, plus the $50 refill cartridges, and it’s currently rated 4 out of 5 stars on Sephora’s website with nearly a hundred reviews. I’m oh-so-tempted, but I don’t want to end up with such an expensive impulse purchase – what say you, readers? Should I splurge?

Sephora, $499.
