Today we launch our new initiative – Swatch Watch!
Swatch Watch is all about providing you with real-life images of how makeup actually looks on real people. So forget the airbrushing of the marketing departments of beauty companies – here you can find the real thing!
If you have swatches you would like to share with The Beauty Stop army of readers, send them in via the ‘Ask Jane’ link above. Leave your email address and I will get in contact. If you have your own blog, we will link to your blog when we publish your swatch (it’s good blog karma, after all) and give you credit.
Just remember when you send your photo in to make sure the colours are vivid and that you have labelled your photos with the colours shown. We want everything from lip colours to eyeshadows to foundation swatches.

Last week, I picked up MAC’s Little Darlings Lip Gloss cheap on eBAY. Yay for eBAY.
This special edition comes with five mini colours (from left to right): Magnetique, Song and Dance, Fleur de Light, Flash Mode, Little VI.I loved the colours so much that I’ve swallowed up my pride, put my insecurities aside and taken some photos of how the colours look on my lips.
Bare, naked lips with no product or primer.
Magnetique (my favourite – the colour is luscious!)
Song and Dance (so beautiful and creamy, perfect for casual days. I feel very Angelina Jolie-esque when I wear this)
Fleur de Light (sheer and shimmery and delicious)
Flash Mode (very deep pink, looks very intense in the bottle but goes on very lightly)
Little VI (stunning plum with flecks of gold throughout)
Overall, the colours are just stunning. My favourite is definitely Magnetique although Song and Dance is a perfect colour for casual days. Oh, who am I kidding! I may have a favourite but these colours are fast making me into a MAC-Addict.What do you guys think? Which do you think looks the best? If you’ve bought the set yourself, which colour do you love the most?
