Tip Stop – Dab, dab, dab
November 12, 2009

I’m seeing a dermatologist at the moment to help clear my very embarrassing adult acne. So far, so good. The spots are clearing up and my complexion is looking alot clearer.
A tip my dermatologist has given me is to dab my moisturiser on, not rub. According to her, fingers can act as a very rough exfoliant on the skin, which is why some of you may find your skin is red after rubbing your moisturiser in.
The best method of applying moisturiser is to dab the moisturiser on your skin and then gently pat it in. This will take longer than rubbing, but it’s more gentle on the skin.
