Tip Stop – Feet care in winter
December 19, 2008

You’ve spent all that time caring for your feet during summer, so don’t let them go to the dogs during winter. Here are some of our best tips for keeping your feet in tip-top condition.
- There’s nothing like a good foot soak. But avoid the temptation to use blistering hot water. Luke warm water is more relaxing and not so dehydrating.
- If you’re buying boots for the colder weather, make sure you choose ones that allow plenty of circulation through your feet.
- If you have sweaty feet, use an anti-fungal powder to ward off any infections.
- Moisturise your feet well, but avoid massaging moisturiser in between your toes. The space between your toes is a great breeding place for fungus.
- Before going to bed every night, knead your feet to help encourage circulation.
